NURSE SCIENTIST x VISUAL ARTIST

​As a nurse and an artist, I am exploring the ground where care and creativity meet. For me, the channel between the arts and healthcare is a narrow one with the promise of human flourishing at the crossing. In all aspects of my work, I strive for joy, compassion, and justice. ​​​

• As a nurse scientist, I engage in research centering on aging, end-of-life care, and health equity for older adults from historically marginalized communities. I have experience with qualitative, quantitative, and participatory research methods.​

• As a visual artist, I practice life drawing, illustration, graphic design, and bookmaking. I have experience leading creative arts groups, and I find fulfillment in helping people of all ages actualize their creative potential.
